My recent trip to Colombia was very memorable. I met some of the most beautiful humans.

Starting with the flight where my co-passenger was with a little toddler. (It reminded me of our journeys we took when my kids were little. It was always tough to travel with them.) So I offered to help my co-passenger with her bags and she happily accepted to take help. As we walked towards the immigration line she informed me that a family with children have a special line. There was hardly anyone in that line. It took us hardly 15 mins to clear through immigration. I looked at the long line that I would have to take otherwise, it was definitely going to be more than an hour or may be two. And I thought, it was the kindness that led me to having such a great experience arriving in a new country I had never been to, Colombia.

During my visit, I met some lovely and kind hearted people from Ireland, Hungary, Spain, USA, local Indigenous Colombian folks when I travelled between Bogota, and Villa Garzon and the neighboring town of Mocoa near Villa Garzon.
